The Evolved Executive

An essential blueprint for designing a vibrant, cutting-edge organization – leading from love not fear.

“This book is a must-read for any leader or executive who comes to work daily knowing there is a better and more purpose-derived way to serve the people who serve our patients and other customers. The quiet and not-so-quiet desperation for a different path so absent from today’s disconnected workplaces is the subject of this book. It is written with heart from a leader with a heart…who has seen this type of leadership done well and also lived through/alongside the opposite. It is my hope that this practical body of work will become THE way we lead and that we will do so unabashedly and even proudly. It will make a difference in our health: mind, body, and soul.”

a peek at what’s inside..

Part I: Where We Are and Where to Go Next
Part One dives deeply into the changing nature of today’s organizations and the need to adapt in order to survive. The Industrial Revolution molded most of our managerial beliefs but hinders our progress to design and lead soulful and thriving organizations. This outdated management system was crafted around certainty and efficiency, which made sense for the time. However, that world has been replaced by a rapidly moving and changing Information Age, and we need a new system of leadership that can carry us forward. There is a crisis of suffering throughout organizations, and we need leaders, and Evolved Executive, to reinvent the way we work.
Part II: Begin From Within
Change always begins from within, and this evolution is no different. Self-awareness is at the center of our progress toward making more meaningful work. Evolved Executives recognize the need for deep self-awareness – the ability to honestly see ourselves and the how others view us – especially as one ascends the corporate ladder. This section highlights the need to focus not only on our skill development but our level of consciousness as leaders. Experts have found a compelling link between leadership success and expanded levels of awareness or consciousness. Fundamental mindsets and deliberate practices are discussed that will heighten your ability to move beyond outdated managerial beliefs and connect with your authentic purpose and meaningful action.
Part III: Charting the New Organization
Creating organizations of the future require change on three interrelated levels: evolutionary leadership beliefs, organizational culture, and finally, organizational structure. The final section provides concrete examples, practices and case studies to bring these three elements to life through successful organizational transformation. Enlightened leaders will walk away with inspiration, tactics, and strategies to reinvent their leadership and organization through practices based on love.
